Today was disembarkation day, and Tim and I enjoyed our final meal in the Restaurant. Since we are in France, I decided that I really should have the French toast. It was very good.
Viking had arranged a taxi to take us to our hotel in Paris, and we had selected 9:15 am as a reasonable departure time. It was interesting watching the various groups disembark, and the ship had the process finely tuned. It seemed that every crew member was helping unload luggage, even the Executive Chef! He didn’t seem amused when I asked him if this was one of those “other duties as assigned.” I’m sorry I didn’t get any photos.
Our first river cruise with Viking exceeded my expectations, and I plan to include a post about my reflections.
