Rambling Chronicles is not the first blog that Tim and/or I have used to document our travels. There were four earlier ones that I alluded to in “Our Story.”
See Where the Road Leads is the blog that chronicled our five-year full-time RV adventure between May 2014 and May 2019. Following Tim’s retirement, we sold our house and traveled to 49 states and several Canadian provinces in our Class B RV. You can read about that trip here.
Road Trip Ramble is the blog that documented our nine-month RV trip across the United States between September 2011 and June 2012. Tim was still working for Rocky Mountain National Park, but he was able to take a nine-month leave of absence. You can read about that trip here.
Before I met and married Tim, I took a solo road trip by car across the country as soon as I retired from the City of Miami in 2005. I called that blog my Retirement Road Trip, and you can read about that one here.
That road trip only whetted my appetite for more travel, so I soon moved out west. In 2007 I began to travel full-time, again by myself and by car, and mostly in the west and southwest. I came off the road in 2008. I called that blog my Wide Open Spaces adventure. You can read about that one here.
I hope I’ve learned something about blogging since I first started. I do know that I’ve had fun trying. These blogs have become a great resource for Tim and me, as well as a wonderful record of all we’ve seen and done.
