Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, was our destination for today. Because Tim and I had had such an extensive tour of the city and countryside when we were here in 2022, we decided to take a sea day and stay on board. It can be quite nice to have the ship to ourselves while everyone else is ashore.
Viking Sky had planned a special “heartfelt gathering” today for those of us who are continuing our journey to New York. We met on Deck 9, where on a beautiful evening, we enjoyed the views and good company as we sailed from Belfast.
Cruise Director Cornelia welcomed us, and she honored our presence, our spirit, and the stories we’ve shared over the past four months. The music and refreshments were lovely, and it was so nice to get together as a group.

From there, we headed to the Pool Grill for a special Viking BBQ. I love a good barbeque, and the assorted meats were tender, juicy, and yummy.
